![]() ![]() Didn't check ESP electronics but you keep saying they s*ck, so. Don't know about MKs but they're probably at least as good. ![]() People who are used to shredder 'D' necks and low, loose string tension don't like Schecters because of their Les Paul like vintage 'C' necks (a bit thinner, though) and stiff string tensions like those of Telecasters.Įlectronics? Last time I checked, my Schecter C-1 Classic came with Schaller electronics and definitely said 'made in Germany'. I honestly think Strats and Ibanez play like crap but most people get along with them fine. Playability is absolutely out of the argument since it is so subjective and nobody cares if you like the playability of your Hardtail more than Gibsons. Inlays? ESPs use pearloid, Gibson uses that fugly plastic (with poor filler work around the inlays), and MK uses real MOP or real abalone. It's just so good that even some of the cork sniffers at TGP mistake it for a USA custom shop Schecter or something. almost everything comes with tonepros and sperzels/grovers these days.įretwork? This one is where the MK shines. ![]() The Gibsons probably have the best woods but weight relieve the *** out of them. ESPs look decent but have really dead colors. Play a Michael Kelly (albeit MIK) and then compare them to your usual Japanese stuff like ESP/Edwards/Jackson/Ibanez, and of course the embarrassing Gibsons. You obviously haven't played many kinds of production guitars or just saying out of your usual condescending attitude towards Chinese stuff. ![]()
